Secretary Kerry spoke with the United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan today to convey the sympathies of the American people to the United Arab Emirates who lost 45 servicemen in the September 4 attack. The United States remains historic friends and strategic partners with both the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. We stand with their citizens during this period of mourning.
