Stop for a moment and listen. You can hear a baby crying somewhere in Israel. A hungry baby. Rosh Hashanah is the time to pick up that crying infant -- and embrace its mother as well -- with your love.

A generous gift to the Colel Chabad Rosh Hashanah campaign -- ongoing since 1788 -- will make sure such families don't go hungry during the High Holy Days.

A starving child is a human shofar... ...and his cries pierce the heavens!
A sick father... a widowed mother... a lost job... a devastating terror attack... a dreaded eviction notice... Suddenly there's no food. No shoes. No money for rent. And thousands of Israeli kids go hungry.
Especially during the month of High Holidays, when most families celebrate and gather around festive tables heaped with delicious foods, there are other families -- just as deserving -- who have nothing!
The shofar reminds us of the cries of hungry children and the desperately poor. It motivates us to open our hearts and wallets so that no child goes hungry on Rosh Hashanah. So that no little girl or boy has to wear shoes that are a size too small. So that no widow lives in terror of being evicted from her apartment.
Poverty is as old as history and as new as 5776. But so is tzedaka! And your generous gift makes a world of difference.
Since 1788 Colel Chabad has been making sure destitute families are cared for -- especially during this holiday season. It makes no difference whether they religious or not, Ashkenazi or Sephardi, white or black. Because hunger is hunger. All that matters is that we care. And so do you!
Please give your Rosh Hashanah tzedaka now. And give generously. After all, you have prayers of your own that need to be heard. What better way to start than by hearing the call of the shofar and the cries of hungry children? Please Help Now.
