Press Releases: Special Presidential Envoy Allen Travel to Qatar, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Italy 06/02/2015 04:06 PM EDT Special Presidential Envoy Allen Travel to Qatar, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Italy Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC June 2, 2015 Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL General John Allen will travel to Doha to deliver keynote closing remarks at the U.S.-Islamic World Forum on June 3. From Doha, General Allen will travel to Pristina to meet with Kosovar officials on June 4. General Allen will then attend the 2 Be Secure Forum in Budva, Montenegro from June 5-7, where he will have a series of bilateral conversations with partner political and security officials and scholars on Coalition progress and regional issues. General Allen will then travel to Sarajevo on June 8 for consultations with Bosnian leadership and to Zagreb on June 9 to meet with Croatian political and security officials. General Allen will then travel to Rome June 10-11 for meetings with Italian partners on a number of Coalition issues, including counter-finance efforts and our support for Iraqi-led stabilization and recovery efforts, as well as policing, in liberated communities.
