Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken will deliver remarks at the American Jewish Committee’s Global Forum 2015 at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8 at the Washington Hilton. At this event, Deputy Secretary Blinken will discuss ongoing efforts by the United States to fight back against anti-Semitism around the world, to support Israel’s security, and to reach an agreement along with the P5+1 on Iran’s nuclear program. The event brings together more than 2,000 participants from across the U.S. and over 70 countries worldwide. Invited guests include senior Israeli officials, other senior Government officials, representatives from think tanks and civil society groups, and prominent members of the American Jewish community Deputy Secretary Blinken’s remarks will be open to the press and streamed live on www.state.gov. Follow @ABlinken and @StateDeptLive, using the hashtag #GloFo. Pre-set time for video cameras: 10:00 a.m. Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 10:30 a.m. Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
