Secretary Kerry Delivers Remarks at 2015 SelectUSA Investment Summit

Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks at the 2015 SelectUSA Investment Summit at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, in Washington, D.C.

Secretary Kerry’s remarks will conclude the two-day SelectUSA Summit. The Summit, hosted by the White House and Department of Commerce as part of the Administration’s SelectUSA Initiative, will bring together more than 2,600 people from nearly 80 countries, including investors from all over the world, economic development organizations from every corner of the United States, high-level government officials, and others working to facilitate investment in the United States. More than 40 U.S. Ambassadors will personally lead delegations to the Summit.

The event will be open to registered press. Secretary Kerry’s remarks will be streamed live on www.state.gov. Follow @StateDept, @EconEngage, and @SelectUSA using the hashtag #SelectUSA.

Media must register and submit full name and outlet at EPPDmedia@state.gov. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 23.

Pre-set time for video cameras: 1:00 p.m. from the Maryland Entrance of the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center

Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 3:00 p.m. from the Maryland Entrance of the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.

Registered media should check in at the Summit to receive credentials.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
