Question: Are you satisfied with the verdicts against the perpetrators of the attack against [U.S. Embassy Tunis] in September 2012 and do you have a clear picture of what happened that day? Answer: The verdicts issued by the Appellate Court reflect a serious response to the September 2012 attack on U.S. Embassy Tunis. That said, we remain disappointed that justice in this case has been delayed so long and remains incomplete with several key suspects still at large. We hope that all those responsible for the attack on the U.S. Embassy and the American Cooperative School of Tunis will be brought to justice without further delay. |
