Ebola: Ask your questions LIVE to the Minister of Information and Communications of Sierra Leone
The Minister of Information and Communications of Sierra Leone, Alpha Kanu, will host an online press conference Tuesday, February 10 at 15:00 GMT
Since Sierra Leone recorded the first confirmed Ebola case in may last year, the government of president Ernest Koroma imposed travelling restrictions and closed all schools across the country. Few weeks ago, the president himself eased these travelling restrictions and announced that schools including tertiary institutions will reopen March 30 this year. Critics say this is too soon as the country in the past week recorded spikes in the number of confirmed ebola cases, according to the WHO. To talk more on this and the general state of Ebola is Sierra Leone's minister for information and communications who doubles as government spokesman Alpha Kanu.
The Minister of Information and Communications of Sierra Leone Alpha Kanu will host an international press conference to dilate on this and several other issues, including concerns over the spike of cases particularly in the western areas of the country, on Tuesday, February 10 at 15:00 GMT.
Journalists interested in attending this event will be able to ASK QUESTIONS LIVE VIA THE INTERNET.
