The Rosetta mission will help scientists learn more about the role comets might have played in the origin and evolution of our solar system. This is a great achievement for science and space exploration. The United States is proud of our NASA collaboration with ESA on this mission, a successful and historic example of international science cooperation and science diplomacy.
