Secretary of State John Kerry will host an Eid reception to mark the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage on Thursday, October 16, at 6 p.m., in the Delegates Lounge at the U.S. Department of State.

At this event, Secretary Kerry will highlight State Department’s commitment to Muslim communities around the world on issues of mutual interest and in support of shared goals.

Secretary Kerry will deliver remarks at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Video coverage of the remarks will be pooled press.

The remarks will be streamed live on ww.state.gov

Final Access time for writers and still photographers is 5:15 p.m. from the C Street entrance.
