After five years in the Administration, the Assistant Secretary announced his departure, effective October 3. This event will provide an opportunity to reflect on what has been accomplished and what still needs to be done to ensure impact and innovation in the U.S. approach to conflict from harnessing data-driven analysis to leveraging partnerships with local groups to tackle the root causes of destabilizing violence. The Assistant Secretary will deliver remarks at 1:30 p.m., at Center for Strategic & International Studies’ offices, 1616 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Washington, D.C., 20036.
