1. Contrary to a very shallow article by the citizen, Tanzania has nothing to worry about following the maritime border dispute between Kenya and Somalia.
Tanzania and kenya had already finalised their maritime borders a very long time ago, a process similar to we are currently doing with Burundi.
In fact it was the kenyan's that initiated the process, and proposed the borders themselves. And the Tanzanian government agreed to Kenya's view of what was fair. In short it's done, there is no chance of renegotiating again.
There has never been any controversy over it. Its perfectly fine for kenya to have one type of border with somalia and another one with Tanzania.
Lets read this document here about the border agreement between TZ and Kenya.

2. This may be wrong but according to some people if Somali wins, kenya will be landlocked or at least it will have less port-potential. If this is the case, it means "that railway project" will be kwishei, and now ALL COWs will depend on Dar es salaam or the new Bagamoyo port, plus whatever railway WE build.
If only Tanzanians were "man eat man" kind of people it would support Somalia on this, but Tanzanians ni wastaarabu, we rather "eat nothing", for the sake of ndugu zetu. Lucky COWs!
