Dear Friends, Today, I want to invite the 14.3 registered voters in Kenya to come out on the 4th March 2013 and help us elect our next President in Round 1. We have the numbers to do that so let us all come out and do that. Secondly, I will be hosted at Radio Mayienga at 7.30am Friday the 22nd Feb. Those who can tune in, tune to Channel 93.5FM. In the last 45 days, we have hosted 9 Human Peace Caravans across Nairobi and in Kisumu led by the Administration Police Band and the Traffic Police and supported by our Friends in the following areas; 1.5th January 2013 in Huruma 2.12th January 2013 in Highrise Langata 3.16th January 2013 in Kariobangi North 4.19th January 2013 in Mathare area 3 5.26th January 2013 in Dagoreti Kawangware 6.2nd February 2013 in Dandora 7.13th February 2013 in Makadara 8.16th February 2013 in Kisumu Nyalenda- Kondele 9.20th February 2013 in Westlands Nairobi All these events have been led by the District Commissioners and we have been joined by the IEBC officials, the DPCs and many Groups. We have interacted with Kenyans from across the Nation and the one message we have heard; Kenyans are tired of politics and they want these elections done away with. To this extent, many people are of the view that we all vote decisively in Round 1 and Vote in our next President. We are all aware of the consequences that come with how we all vote. And to this extent, we at The Clean Kenya Campaign are inviting Kenyans to love Kenya more the moment you are alone in the voting booth. Talk to your God and seek divine intervention to make you make the right decision. We have already lost enough man hours campaigning for the Presidency since 2008. We must pause and put politics aside the moment we have voted. In the USA, you will not know that they only had an election in November. They have all gone back to work and you will only hear of politics 4 years to come. Can we also vote and forget about politics in favour of nation building? We are happy that we have made efforts at Peace Building and our message to Kenyans has been loud and clear. Let us all embrace that unity of purpose that makes us appreciate whomsoever wins the Presidency on the 4th March as a deserving Kenyan. But let your vote help in creating confidence in Kenya, our only Motherland.
Let us all work for a Clean Kenya, a Clean Africa and a Clean General Election as a Transformative Deliverable as we turn 50 in Kenya. Odhiambo T Oketch, Executive Director, The Clean Kenya Campaign- TCKC The Clean Kenya Campaign is an Initiative of KCDN Kenya
